Course of LaProductConf' 2023
On May 24, our dream team of POs/PMs dove headfirst into the fray at LaProductConf' 2023 in Paris, and we're going to tell you all about it!
This year's event took place at the Folies Bergères, a historic theater in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. Audrey, Sébastien, Clément, Maximiliano, Solène, Pauline and Naoil attended a day rich in conferences, meetings and insights, but not only!
The morning began with an introduction from Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Telecommunications, who outlined the French government's intention to become more involved in the French Tech sphere.
- Firstly, he expressed the government's commitment to providing a solid foundation on which the country's entire technology ecosystem can build, with particular emphasis on artificial intelligence, quantum computing and the cloud,
- He then stressed the importance of France's expertise in the field of generative AI,
- And finally, it paid particular attention to child protection in the face of digital challenges such as inappropriate content, exposure time, addiction and cyberbullying.
An inspiring inspiring
The day continued with a series of talks by inspirational speakers such as Bruce McCarthy, Ryan Singer and Isabelle Bénard.
The speakers gave unfiltered feedback on their own successes and failures, creating an atmosphere of trust and sharing. Topics ranged from adopting a product-centric approach, to managing the ups and downs of the technology world, to optimizing product strategy through data analysis and A/B testing, to name but a few.
Representatives from leading companies in the tech ecosystem, such as Mirakl, PayFit and CANAL+, also presented their experiences in building new products and transitioning to a product-centric organization.
The afternoon was just as captivating, with talks on managing product teams in the current economic context, as well as on stakeholder management, a sometimes neglected but essential skill. The speakers shared their knowledge and expertise, offering participants valuable insights into best practices in their respective companies.
